Reflection

Don,t undermine your worth by comparing yourself with others.

It is because we are different that each one of us is special

Don,t set your goals by what other people deem important.

Only you know what is best for you.

Dont,t take for granted the things closest to your heart.

Cling to them as you would your life,for without them life is

meaningless.

Don,t let your life slip through your fingers by living in the past.

By living life one day at time,you live all the days of your life.

Dont give up when you have something to give.

Nothing is really over until the moment you stop trying.

Dont be afraid to admit that you are less than perfect,

It is this fragile thread that binds us to each other.

Don.t be afraid to encounter risks

It is by taking chances that we learn how to be brave.

Don,t shut love out of your life by saying it is impossible to find.

The quickest way to recieve love is to give love;

The fastest way to lose love is to hold it too tightly;

and the best way to keep love is to give it wings.

Don,t dismiss your dreams

To be without dreams is to be without hope.

To be without hope is to be without purpose.

Don,t run through life so fast that you forget

not only where you have been but also where you are going.

Life is not a race,but a journey to be savoured

each step of the way.

The essence of lifelong frienship.

A lifelong friend

is one who enters your life

at a time when they are needed most,

though you may not understand it,

there will be an instant bonding

between you

and a realization

that this person was brought to you

not only to fill an emptiness

or assist you in the time of need,

but to form an eternal frienship..

A life long friend

is a friend who knows you like no other,

who is much a part of you

that the distance does not cause seperation.

They will hurt when you hurt,

and feel joy when you are joyus,

they know your imperfections

and they accept them as a part of you.

Though they may not

agree with your decisions,

they will support you completely

in everything you do.

They respect you and your right

to make your lofe what you want it to be.

When all the others have come and gone,

this friend will be with you:

even when your world falls apart,

they will be there to build it back upbetter and stronger then before.

This is the essence of a lifelong friendship.

today is a gift.thats why its called the present.

In the infinity of life where I am

All is perfect,whole & complete

Iam always Divinely protected and guided

It is safe for me tp look within myself

It is safe for me to look into my past.

It is safe for me to enlarge my viewpoint of life.

I am far more than my personality,past present or future.

I now choose to rise above my personality

To recognise the magnificence of my being.

I am totally willing to learn to love myself.

All is well in my world.

Actually who are you not to be?

You are a child of god

your playing small doesn,t serve the world.

Theres nothing enlightened about

shrinking so that other people

wont feel insecure around you.

We are all meant to shine as children do.

We were born to make manifest

the glory of God that is within us.

It,s not just in some of us ;it,s in everyone.

And as we let our own light shine,

we unconsciously give other people

permission to do the same.

As we,re liberatewd from our own fear,

our presence automatically liberate others.

From Parent to Child

I gave you life,but cannot live it for you.

I can teach you things,but I cannot make you learn.

I can give you directions,but I cannot be there to lead you.

I can allow you freedom,but I cannot account for it.

I can take you to church,but I cannot make you belive.

I can teach you right from wrong,but I cannot always decide for you.

I can buy you beautiful clothes,but I cannot make you beautiful inside.

I can offer you advise,but I cannot accept it for you.

I can give you love,but i cannot force it on you.

I can teach you to share,but I cannot make you unselfish.

I can teach you respect,but I cannot force you to show honour.

I can advise you about friends,but I cannot choose them for you.

I can advise you about sex,but I cannot keep you pure.

I can teach the facts of life,but I can,t build your reputation.

I can tell you about drink,but i can,t say No for you.

I can warn you about drugs,but I can,t prevent you from using them.

I can tell you about lofty goals,but i can,t achieve them for you.

I can teach you about kindness,but I can,t force you too be gracious.

A ROSE IS PLANTED IN A GARDEN OF LOVE.

When a rose is planted in a garden of love,

It,s neither for the living or the dead,

It,s there for it,s beauty to be admired,

The old the young the sick and the tired.

If a rose was planted every where,

How could this world not share,

The love and the care it,s meant to get.

The tears that are shed so it gets wet.

Maybe nobody notices this rose,

That stands among in a garden among the shurbs,

If passers by took the time to look,

They,d see this flower is not planted in muck.

But the soil of the earth that gave it birth,

only it,s roots lay in the dirt,

A rose will grom where it,s planted,

But never takes it,s beauty for granted.

This flower can give hours of pleasure,

It,s certainly one flower to treasure,

Many a rose has been dedicated to another,

a mother,father,sister or brother.

Next time you see a rose my friend,

Ask it how you can tend,

To keep it growing and opening in bloom,

If a lot more did that,this world would have less doom.

Don't Look Back.

When you yearn for the past-
To re-live it once again
To have a chance to change things
that may have happened way back
then

...Remember that from Lifes trails
We have the chance to learn
To be stronger and much wiser
Throught each twist and turn.
So, leave yesterday behind-
It has been and gone-
today has brought a brand new dawn
For you to build upon.
so even if the clouds
Are the darkest there could be
Behind them is the bright sunshine-
Just hang on in there and you,ll see.
